Harry said: “”When I found out I’d won the competition, I was very happy because there would be a street named forever with the name that I thought of! I chose Oakwood Close because I thought it sounded like somewhere I would like to live.”
Kingswood have previous links to the primary school after some of the team gave a careers talk to pupils and Kingswood wanted to give the year group the chance to be part of a lasting legacy at the flagship development.
Competition winner Harry was joined by friends Noah and Oliver at Green Hills and spent some time with site manager Ryan Corlett after seeing what his street name will look like when its erected.
Ryan said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the pupils from St Paul’s and unveil the street sign. It’s always great to ask children for help with projects, they’re imaginations are usually better than ours as adults and Harry’s street name choice fits in really well with the existing street names we have at Green Hills.”
