Budding artists at Hatherleigh Community Primary School in Devon got into the festive spirit as part of a Christmas card design competition organised by Kingswood Homes.
The children were asked to create designs based on the theme of ‘Christmas in Hatherleigh’ or Christmas at home’.
Three designs were chosen by Tracey Saunders, our sales consultant at The Market Quarter in Hatherleigh, to be produced into packs of Christmas cards which were given to every family with a child in the school.
The three winning designers all received a gift of book tokens and Kingswood also made a donation to the school fund as a thank you to everyone for taking part.
Alan Monger, head teacher at Hatherleigh Community Primary School said: “This was a wonderful opportunity for the children of Hatherleigh Primary School to showcase their artistic talents at this special time of the year.
“We are very grateful to Kingswood Homes for inviting us to enter the competition and would like to thank them for the kind and generous prizes for the three winning designs and for their contribution to the school.
“We look forward to working with Kingswood Homes on other projects and activities in the future.”
Tracey said: “All the drawings perfectly captured the magic of Christmas in this wonderful town and showed great imagination.
“Thank you to all the children who took part and from everyone at Kingswood Homes we wish you all a very merry Christmas.”
