We recently opened two new show homes at The Hollies, a development of 38 luxury new homes close to Hollins Lane, and made the donation through our Community Support Fund.
Lesley Myers, head of sales at Kingswood Homes, said: “The Hollies is proving extremely popular with families and it is great that clubs like Cockerham JFC give local children the opportunity to get involved in team sport from such an early age.
“Hopefully some of our new residents will enjoy playing for the club in the future and we wish them all the best for the remainder of the season.”
Cockerham JFC has been providing access to football for boys and girls since 1998. The club, which has FA Development status, runs teams for children aged seven to 16 and has a partnership with Garstang Football Club.
Club chairman, Andrew Peck, said: “Thank you to Kingswood Homes for sponsoring the club and providing the new kit.
“It is vital the club gets support from the local community to enable us to continue to operate and the team can’t wait to get back playing again.
“Hopefully their style of play will be as impressive as their new strip.”
