Andrea Fortune, director at Kingswood Homes, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming people to the event which we hope will be a lovely family occasion. As well as seeing the impressive birds of prey on display, people can look around the beautiful homes and spend some time experiencing the family-friendly lifestyle on offer at Green Hills. The Oval area at The Homestead Collection is perfect for community activities and we’ll be able to showcase that on the day.”
Green Hills is surrounded by Pennine hills and home to an array of wildlife including birds of prey.
Andrea continued: “Our team on site and current residents often see wild animals such as pheasants, owls, deer and foxes so we wanted to invite a wildlife expert to site to educate visitors on some of the birds of prey they may see around Green Hills.”
Visitors will be able meet a selection of birds between 11am and 1pm and explore the Farmstead and Homestead show homes as well as a Rufford 4 and Pendle 4 from the Homestead Collection.
The open house event will run from 11am-3pm and light refreshments will be provided.
The Pendle 4 starts at £385,995. This home has an open-plan kitchen/ diner with a kitchen island and bi-fold doors out into the garden. Upstairs, the main bedroom has its own ensuite and the three other double bedrooms share a family bathroom.
The Dovecote 5, from the Farmstead Collection, is typically a five-bedroom home over three-storeys but it can also altered to be a three or four-bedroom home. Making the most of the hillside location at Green Hills, you enter this home on the middle floor with the kitchen and dining space on the floor below.
Green Hills is located close to major motorway connections and benefits from being near the large town amenities of Blackburn.
The show homes at Green Hills Homestead are open seven days a week with the Farmstead show homes open Thursday-Monday 10am-5pm.
