Kingswood Homes has been recognised in the Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative category for Shape Your Home, its flexible home design-led concept that puts buyers at the heart of the homebuying process.
The category recognises initiatives, business products, company cultures, processes or plans that improve the customer journey, ease the homebuying experience or enhance how customers use and enjoy their new homes. Entries are judged on innovation and imagination, how well they address a specific customer need, delivery above the norm and the clear benefit provided to buyers.
Shape Your Home allows Kingswood customers to choose from a range of ground and first floor layout options, giving them the ability to create a bespoke property with an internal layout tailored to their lifestyle.
Options can include the additions of home offices, playrooms, separate family lounges, the creation of open-plan kitchen/dining/living areas, additional bedrooms and en-suites, dressing rooms or more accessible layouts. The concept enables buyers to create homes that work for modern family life, multi-generational living, working from home, cultural needs and accessibility requirements without the need for expensive alterations after moving in.
To date, over 40% of Kingswood customers have used Shape Your Home to personalise their properties, demonstrating strong demand for the customer-first approach.
Every Kingswood home also includes a high specification as standard, with features such as integrated kitchen appliances, a smart thermostat heating system, Ring doorbell, EV charger, turfed rear gardens and solar PV panels. Customers can further personalise their homes through Kingswood’s customer choices portal, selecting finishes such as kitchen worktops, cupboards, flooring, additional sockets, garden paving and fitted wardrobes.
The shortlisting follows Kingswood Homes achieving the Home Builders Federation five-star customer satisfaction rating for the fifth consecutive year, with more than 96% of homeowners confirming they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend.
