KINGSWOOD SCOOPS SECOND UK PROPERTY AWARD

KINGSWOOD Homes has cemented its success by scooping another award.

The Hollies, in Forton, has been named as an award winner at a national property awards that focuses on the design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability of housing developments.

The Hollies

The development, that completed in November 2021, is a collection of 38 homes on the south-eastern tip of Forton.

Launched in July 2020, the development was popular with local buyers with the majority of homeowners coming from within a five-mile radius or who were originally from the area and wanted to return.

Due to its popularity, it had sold all homes by summer 2021.

Paul Jones, managing director at Kingswood Homes said: “The Hollies’ location was a selling point for many of the buyers. It has a lovely semi-rural village setting, situated on the edge of the beautiful Forest of Bowland, but has plenty of local amities close by too. So they got the best of both worlds.”

Entries to The UK Property Awards are judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts and cover over 45 different residential and commercial categories.

The company will find out on October 28th whether The Hollies, has achieved the highest level of accolade – the coveted Five Star award – during the ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

Paul continues: “This is the second success we’ve had at The UK Property Awards after the Dovecote 4 won Best Residential Property in Lancashire at the 2021 awards. We’re thrilled that The Hollies has now been recognised. We started on site in Forton just as the pandemic hit and so we were working in unknown conditions so for us to sell out so fast and then to have continued success with this award win just tops it all off.”

The UK awards are one of eight regional heats – alongside Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central & South America, the Caribbean, USA, and Asia Pacific – with the highest scorers of each of the categories going on to compete at the International Property Awards at the end of the year.
