Lesley Myers, sales director at Kingswood Homes said: “The Hawthorns has been a great development right from the beginning so winning this award is testament to everyone’s hard work.
“It’s a prime example of how Kingswood dares to be different and break away from the industry norm. Externally, the homes fit in with the semi-rural village location, but thanks to Shape Your Home, inside there are potentially nine configurations available per house type. The challenge of managing so many variables is one the site manager Ryan Corlett has risen to, achieving a regional award in the prestigious Pride in the Job Awards.
“Aside from the homes, we’ve really connected with the local community too. To help residents of The Hawthorns feel at home, we enlisted the help of children from Great Eccleston Copp CofE Primary School to design welcome cards. We also sponsored Elswick in Bloom and the village went on to scoop the village category award in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom Awards.”
