The partnership will see Kingswood support Derian House’s programme of fundraising and community events throughout the rest of the year, helping the hospice to continue to provide vital care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as support for their families.
The collaboration is already underway, with Kingswood sponsoring The Derian Open earlier in May. The housebuilder sponsored a hole on the day, helping raise awareness and funds for the hospice while bringing supporters together for a community-focused event. The golfing event, held at Chorley Golf Club, saw 20 teams take part with over 80 participants.
“Derian House does incredible work for families at the most challenging times, and we’re proud to support them as an official event partner,” said Joel, Commercial Director at Kingswood Homes. “We are looking forward to backing future events and helping raise both awareness and funds for the hospice across the year.”
Kingswood’s connection with Derian House began in 2021, when the housebuilder donated a home as part of their Great Big House Giveaway fundraiser. The initiative raised more than £400,000 for Derian House, helping to fund specialist care and support for local families.
